Transcription of mobile recordings

DBU046 Recently I had a challenging project! Whats new! We learn from challenges!

I received a call for help to transcribe some recordings on a mobile phone and the customer didnt know how to get them typed up. Time period was within a couple of days. They couldn’t email the files or use Drop Box. I arranged to meet them and tried a few methods of transferring the audio files from the mobile phone. Finally I connected the cable from mobile to a laptop and then onto a usb. It took a while to succeed as they were large files in a video movie format. The next task was to upload the files to my transcription software on my PC and crossed fingers it would be able to play without converting. Fortunately my transcription software successfully uploaded the files to play back the audio. The transcripts were completed well within the timeline requested and happy customer!

If you have audio recordings in any format, there are ways to convert them to a format that can be played back on our transcription software. This can be converted to a Word file and emailed back to you. Yes even in a movie or video format, music lyrics, etc. The costs are quite affordable starting from $25 for a 15 minute recording of 1-2 speakers. The file could be ready within 1 hour.

Wishing you the best!
